    I've held shares on both the Dow and NASDAQ during the entire year (both periods covered by the table), for a long time. However, while my returns pretty much fit the numbers presented, they are on the negative side. Is the table correct?

    Please check with your broker and make sure he does not report the returns on a Minkowski space ?
    It must be a special relativity issue.
